Work Share

On Friday, August 14th, the session 3 residents organized an event like no other. Aside from the amazing pot luck food made by the writers and artists, every resident was given the opportunity to share the work they have done outside of Byrdcliffe. We watched animations and art videos, talked about paintings and installations, held clay vessels, listened to story excerpts, participated in the reading of a play, and listened to a beautiful live music performance. It was also the birthday of a resident, and we enjoyed a home made chocolate ganache cake with a cherry compote filling. The evening was a great success, all the residents listened with respect and applauded with encouragement, and it was fascinating to get to know everyone and their work better. Well done session 3!unnamed-12unnamed-20 unnamed-19 unnamed-17 unnamed-18 unnamed-21unnamed-6unnamed-7
